  • You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase alcohol. 

    By placing an order through our website, you are representing yourself to us as someone at least 21 years of age and saying that the person to whom it is being shipped is at least 21 years of age. We reserve the right to ask for proof of identity before processing an order. An adult signature with proof of age verification (government issued ID or passport) is required at time of delivery. If no one is available at the time of delivery, the package will not be delivered and may end up in the nearest shipping center.

    If your order has already been fulfilled and shipped, we unfortunately can not change or cancel the order. We ask that before every order, you make sure and confirm that you have selected all of the correct items and have not forgotten anything. If you ordered the wrong items and your order has already been shipped, you will need to place another order for the correct items.

  • We do our best to get orders fulfilled as quickly and accurately as possible. Typically, that means sending out your order within 1-2 business days of it being placed. The estimates on actual transit time are provided by UPS, FedEx, or USPS and are mostly reliable.

    You can expect anywhere between 2-4 weeks for freight-shipped items, but sometimes longer. 

    Keep in mind the transit time that takes place once your order leaves our facility. When our order volume is especially high, it may take more than 1-2 business days to fulfill your order. But rest assured, we want to get you your stuff as soon as possible!

  • Per Michigan law, we are unable to accept returns on any purchases of alcoholic beverages. We are willing to accept exchanges for (opened) faulty or defective bottles.

    If you happen to have a faulty bottle, please bring the defective, opened bottle (with the wine still inside) back to the shop. We’ll gladly exchange it for a new bottle of the same wine or store credit. We are unable to accept returns on back vintage and cellared bottles.

    We DO NOT refund original nor return shipping costs. 

  • Please be sure to inspect your order upon receiving it, and contact us immediately if the item is damaged or defective. Contact us at support@lutine.wine and we will evaluate the issue and work with you to find a solution. 

    Temperature Damage Policy: Michigan summers are hot. Wine is a living thing and it doesn't fare well with large fluctuations in temperature. That being the case, we don't recommend shipping wine during the months of June through mid-September. If you don't live locally to us in the Detroit area, we are happy to hold your shipment until the weather breaks and ship when we feel it's safest for your wine. If you choose to ship during these months, we do not assume responsibility for temperature damaged product.

  • We understand that not all wine is perfect, and the occasional corked bottle can certainly happen.

    If you do run across a faulty bottle, bring the opened bottle (with the wine still inside) back to our shop. We are willing to replace it with a new bottle of the same wine or give you store credit.
